There are also two disability- and diversity-focused resume databases that many employers use to connect with potential employees with disabilities; make sure to upload your resume to both of them!

It's worthwhile to look over each website and determine which ones might offer the best fit for you; some of them provide coaching services for job seekers; some of them specialize in neurodivergent applicants, while some cover the full range of applicant disabilities. A few of them list internships for students, as well.


Launched in 2001, AbilityLinks was the聽first-of-its-kind website for persons with disabilities and inclusive employers.聽AbilityLinks helps persons with disabilities find jobs and connects a dynamic talent pool of applicants with disabilities to a network of employers that value disability inclusion.

Despite the name, The Blind Institute of Technology and the BIT Academy serve all professionals with any type of disability. Our mission is and has always been to stop the revolving door of not being able to get a job without experience and not being able to get experience due to workplace barriers to entry. BIT Academy upskills and reskills聽professionals with disabilities with FREE training courses.聽.

An end-to-end neurodiversity employment program that helps organizations realize the benefits of neurodiversity. Our successful employment model is designed to bring the untapped neurodiverse talent pool into the workforce and creates more career opportunities for a broader range of neurodivergent individuals.

Chronically Capable is a job site that works to remove the fear and stigma of living with chronic illness or disability from the hiring process and employers who sign up to Chronically Capable sign on to the belief that people living with chronic illness or disability are capable of being productive employees so jobseekers who use the platform can feel secure that participating employers care about their success.

Inclusively goes beyond a candidate鈥檚 background, working to matching a candidate鈥檚 experience, skills, and accommodations needed to succeed in the jobs posted to the Inclusively site.

Neurodiversity in the Workplace goes beyond matching applicants to potential jobs; they work to help prepare successful applicants for the job and integration into the employer鈥檚 culture, as well as working with the employer to prepare colleagues for their new co-worker.

JPMorgan Chase is dedicated to advancing and empowering people with disabilities of all forms. Since 2016, the company has worked through the Office of Disability Inclusion to promote employment. Microsoft's
The Neurodiversity Hiring program seeks to attract talented neurodivergent candidates and provide the training and support needed for career growth and success.Through this program, applicants engage in an extended interview process that focuses on workability, interview preparation, and skill assessment. Our process gives candidates the opportunity to showcase their unique talents while learning about Microsoft as an employer of choice. Additionally, Microsoft holds an inclusive hiring webinar on the first Tuesday of every month, from 3-4 pm Pacific time聽.


VMware鈥檚 Neurodiversity Inclusion Program is a hiring initiative tailored towards individuals with autism. The Neurodiversity Inclusion Program includes enablement for recruiters, hiring teams, and candidates to engage in an interview process that is inclusive of neurodiverse individuals. Many companies are looking to increase the diversity of their workforce and are looking to hire people with disabilities. Submit a resume to two databases used by employers used to find diverse employees.

The Tapia resume database begins taking submissions in the summer before the conference start of the conference and closes in the fall after the conference is over. You鈥檒l need to subscribe to the Tapia mailing list to receive notice of when the resume database begins taking submissions.聽 You do not have to attend the Tapia conference in order to submit your resume to the Taipa resume database聽

AnitaB/Grace Hopper Celebration of Women is an annual conference with a year-round employment site where you can upload your resume. AnitaB specializes in supporting women and non-binary individuals to succeed in technology. You do not have to attend the conference to submit your resume to the AnitaB resume database.

If you have a disability that makes employment more challenging for you, you may be eligible for services to help you prepare for, obtain, and maintain a job. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a U.S. Department of Education funded program that provides these services in every state, territory, and many Indian Nations. VR serves all disability groups, but some states have a separate program called Services for the Blind that provides specialized services for individuals with legal blindness. If your state does have a separate ageny that provides Services for the Blind, your Vocational Rehabilitation agency can refer you.聽

To qualify for VR services, an individual must have a physical or mental impairment that presents a substantial barrier to employment and be able to benefit from VR services to achieve employment, as well as need VR services to prepare for a job, or to get, keep, or regain a job. Individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits are considered eligible for VR, unless they are unable to work.聽
