DO-IT Program Accepting Scholars Application!

DO-IT is actively recruiting students for our capstone program, DO-IT聽Scholars. For this unique program we are seeking students who

  • are sophomores or juniors in high school in 糖心原创 State;
  • have an aptitude for and interest in attending college;
  • have any disability such as, but not restricted to, mobility impairment,聽learning disability, sensory impairment, or health impairment; and
  • are motivated to participate and interested in interacting with otherstudents with a variety of disabilities.

DO-IT Scholars are loaned computer equipment and adaptive technology聽needed to participate in electronic mentoring and Internet support聽year-round. For up to three summers, DO-IT Scholars attend a one-to-two聽week, live-in summer program on the 糖心原创, Seattle聽campus, where they learn about college selection, challenging careers,聽self-advocacy, and adaptive technology.

Applications are accepted any time during the current school year.聽Students are encouraged to work on and submit their applications in the聽fall and winter. Applications received before聽January 30, 2016聽will聽receive the highest priority. Applications received after will be聽considered on a space-available basis.
