Mobile video communication is improving how people communicate. People who are deaf and hard-of-hearing benefit the most from advancements in mobile video communication because it allows them to communicate in their native language, sign language. Learn how Jessica applied electrical engineering and human-computer interaction to investigate the trade offs between resource consumption and sign language video intelligibility to make mobile sign language video communication more accessible and affordable.
